After my breakup with social media this summer, I have been left thinking about growing new branches. Ties, really. Expanding connections with real people, IRL.
I want to grow my business in a sustainable, stress- and social media-free way.
Maybe, to find the answer to the business-without-social-media-marketing conundrum, I have to go old-school.
What if we pretended the internet, or at least social platforms, didn’t exist?
Well, if that was my reality, to find my audience I would…
-Be a vendor at events like festivals, farmers markets, and craft fairs
-Sell my products to local shops
-Exhibit at art galleries
Guess what? The first one is already in motion.
I signed up for a local festival in September! I am absolutely terrified and at the same time overjoyed to be growing this new branch of my business.
There are a dizzying number of details, though. Where can I find a canopy? How do I know how much to charge? I need to buy some display racks for – Wait, what the heck am I even selling?!
It’s true, I can get ahead of myself sometimes.
Buuuut….. after tons of samples, lots of list-making, and a few minor mistakes, I have everything planned out and (almost) all my products ready to go.
I am really excited to see who shows up! Will you be there?
xx,
Noemi
P.S. If you can’t shop in-person, you only have to hang on for a teeeeny bit longer before greeting cards and originals will be available in my online shop. Stay tuned!
